I was asked to explain why I chose the title:
After some late day summer storms, the part of the sky in the sun's direction clears first and low angle sunlight breaks through the overcast, illuminating the landscape with what some photographers call "magic light", while the grey storm clouds remain visible as they pass away towards the horizon.
